private app - consumer key not recognised

Started by Richard Durrant -   in Getting Started

I have created a private app and added the X509 certificate successfully and so get the consumer key and secret.

What I need to know is how to use these to create a valid header. I have tried various scenarios and keep getting 'oauth_problem=consumer_key_unknown'.

I am running this from Salesforce and am trying to access the endpoint :- https://api.xero.com/api.xro/2.0/Organisation

Is it possible to have an example header shown with the constituent parts so I can see what oauth parameters I need to supply?

Sorry if this is a basic issue but I'm new to OAuth and without access to log files I am 'stuck getting started'.

Thanks for any assistance.
@Richard, it seems like you are not supplying the correct consumer key. Please refer the common oAuth issues page http://developer.xero.com/documentation/getting-started/oauth-issues/

@Richard, Found your post and have exactly the same issue. Can't find any document on the header content to authorise and the customer key if it needs to be encoded or not. Using Javascript / Google Apps Scripts.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
