Xero Accounting C# API : 500 response

Hello. We're using the C# SDK to post invoices and, during a testing, data that posted fine earlier in the morning was generating 500 errors later in the day.



Xero API error calling CreateInvoices: {"Title":"An error occurred","Detail":"An error occurred in Xero. Check the API Status page http://status.developer.xero.com for current service status.","Status":500,"Instance":"9734f009-5906-43d8-8288-a3cb905a030f"}


Because we're using the C# SDK, in an app deployed on a customer site, I don't know how to extract the request and run it through the Preview service.

500 sounds like a Xero problem, but the API status has been "100%" for a long time. (Raising the question of what 100% means if it's throwing 500s)

Any advice, or someone at Xero who can help?

Hi, we are experiencing the same issue with many of our clients who export from our platform to Xero. This is the error.

Can someone please look into this ASAP. Thanks, Lisa

We are getting something similar today (nothing has changed our end).

When doing anything with the Contacts end point:

_api.Contacts.Where(findStr).Find().FirstOrDefault();

<ErrorNumber>500</ErrorNumber> <Type>UnknownErrorException</Type> <Message>An error occurred in Xero. Please contact api@xero.com. Also check the API Status page https://status.developer.xero.com/ for current service status.</Message>
