Pricing for Xero only Payroll

Started by Kerri Miller in Feature Requests | Idea

Would it be possible to have add extra employees to the new Payroll only feature at a cost per employee say $5 per month per extra employee over and above the 4 limit. This would be a preferable option than upgrading the file as you would need to go to a business edition - if clients are using some other software plus the Xero only payroll app this will be overkill for them. I think paying for extra employees on a per head basis would be easier for clients and appeal to a broader section of the market.
Thanks for your interest, Kerri. Our 'Payroll Only plan' is designed to support ‘micro employers’ as defined by the ATO
Businesses with one to four employees – who aren’t quite ready to adopt a full accounting-software package.

We offer a range of full-service plans for larger clients that offer Payroll and STP alongside core product features.

Hi Kelly

We see many clients who are micro employers with seasonal workers eg: farm hands and shearers, at times they may employ more than 4 people in the shearing shed or on the farm but as it is season it will only be at odd times. Seems a bit of overkill to have to adopt a business edition to pay two extra people for maybe one or two weeks of the year. My point was many other software solutions are offering a pay by the employee option which make them more user friendly than Xero
