Bank Feeds - Remove Yodlee feed option when there's a direct feed available

Started by Dayle Rodriguez in Feature Requests | Idea

Greetings and salutations Xero peeps

Would it be possible to remove the ability to set up a Yodlee feed if Xero has a direct option with the bank?

At the moment it is causing a bit of confusion for some of our clients when we try and support them through the bank feed set up process.

It is quite confusing trying to explain the difference between a Yodlee feed and direct feed to a client when they both appear in the feed set up process.

Many Thanks

Dayle
Appreciate where you're going with your request here, Dayle. We'd like to get a pulse on the demand in this - Don't forget to come back and add your own vote :)
While we'd recommend a direct over a Yodlee feed where possible, there are some circumstances where people do purposefully select a Yodlee feed over a direct one.
Kavi's given a good run down of these two feed types across on this closed conversation. Welcome to point client here if it helps as it also links off to both articles in Xero Central.
