Batch Purchase Invoice Entry

I would like to be able to enter purchase invoices in batch format rather than one by one. It's a slow process at the moment. This is the only feature that desktop SAGE trumps Xero on. I miss it so much! I know I can create a spreadsheet and import it, but this is more clunky than it should be and if a contact is mistyped then a new contact gets created. Aside from this though, I don't want to leave Xero to work in excel and then go back to Xero. I'd like a batch input feature that keeps me within the programme. Would also like to know that Xero can trump SAGE in every way :)
