Reporting - Add number of transactions per tracking code to income reports

Started by Charlotte Grimshaw -   in Using Xero

I would really really love to be able to produce one report that breaks down our year's income according to the tracking codes we have allocated AND also shows me how many transactions were allocated under each code, a really easy way to see (and then chart) how income breaks down both by value and by number of jobs
Hi Charlotte, Tracking in Xero is assigned on a line-by-line base. So, in theory there maybe multiple tracking categories assigned to a single transaction.

You may find the Tracking Summary report in which you can click on the net activity figure to view the individual transactions that make this up, or our new Account Transactions report, grouped by reference and filtered by tracking category helpful here, which could be exported for further analysis.
