NZ Payroll - Backdating incorrect payrate

Started by Zac Prestidge -   in NZ Payroll

I have just picked up that an employee who started early this year was set up with a slightly lower hourly rate than what they should be on. How can I make the adjustment so that it is backdated, outstanding pay calculated along with PAYE?
Is this possible to do or should I be making a one off lump sum adjustment in the next pay run and then simply adjust the payrate going forward?
Hi Zac, if you're still after help here also feel free to come in to Support. We have payroll specialists who can help with these sort of questions too. :)
