Best Consolidation Tool for small business

What is the best and cheapest tool for simple consolidation reporting? I am doing the Fathom trial, which is great but will cost more than Xero to continue beyond this.
We only have 2 entities (may have 3 soon) and only really need basic P&L/Balance Sheet.
I know I could do in excel but the directors like the professional look and feel of the reports from these tools.
