AU Payroll - Annual leave

Started by Maya Hristova -   in AU Payroll

I am new to Xero, but quite experienced with accounts.
I am helping out with a project, and reconciling accounts.
What I came across is that Annual Leave and Sick (Personal) Leave taken are posting to the Wages and Salaries (expense account). Tried to correct that but cannot find a way to do it.
Annual Leave taken should be mapped to a Balance sheet account, and only the accrued Annual Leave should be expensed
Sick leave should be mapped to a Sick Leave account in the Profit and Loss
Could you please assist on how to make the above changes, I cannot find the mapping for leave types, only Earnings types can be linked to Accounts.
Thank you
