Monthly Invoice Limit - is this a technical limitation? Will the limit be lifted or improved?

We're new to Xero -- and love it so far -- but we have a web app with lots of customers.

What we want to do is tie all of the invoices that we generate straight into Xero using (of course) the API. However we're rapidly going to hit the 500 invoices-per-month limit.

Is that limit something that we can pay extra to have lifted or is a technical limitation?

Hey team just wanted to confirm a few things here around volume limits, as there's a lot of factors that can affect volume limits..

Xero's designed to work with typical small businesses, however things that create more journals can slow up the generation of reports, and the general use of Xero. For example; Payment Services that generate an additional fee transaction for each payment, multi lined invoices and, extensive editing of transactions.

In our experience, most small businesses that typically use Xero aren't likely to hit these limits, but there can be exceptional circumstances that can cause problems such as those mentioned above.

This is something we'll need to focus on in the future because we definitely want to support the growth of businesses that use Xero. However, please keep in mind, we are designed for small businesses and there may come a time where they outgrow our capabilities.
