AU Payroll - Leave hours reflecting daily hours for those working over 5 days a week

Started by Sue Hill -   in Using Xero

Currently, if you're working 38 hours a week, then leave is calculated as 7.6 hours a day. However, if you work 6 days a week, and therefore 45.6 hours a week, leave then calculates as if you are working 45.6 hours in 5 days - therefore making leave at 9.12 hours, which is incorrect.

We can manually adjust this in the leave area, or we can add in Ordinary hours in the time sheet at 38 and then Saturday hours at 7.6 hours. However, then when we look at the overall salary for the employee, it only picks up the Ordinary hours.

I'd like a feature where you can let Xero know the hours of leave in a general period, so that it picks up the correct amount of leave automatically, rather than having to manually calculate it.
