cashflow defaults for "planned payment date" and "expected receipt date"

Started by Chris Watt -   in Using Xero

When cashflow forecasting it would be really useful to have

"planned payment date" default to the "Due Date" for purchase invoices

and

"expected receipt date" default to "Due Date" for sales invoices

This way the starting point for a cashflow forecast is as at everyone pays on time. We can then make adjustments (overwrite the defaults) from there as we make decisions about payments to make and get commitments from customers about when they will pay bills.
Yes, agreed! At the moment I'm manually updating them one by one for my sales invoices expected payment date.

Would be good if we could select and add expected date just like with the bills waiting for payment.
