Contacts - Business Number: Changing ABN to NZBN

I was very surprised to learn that I could not change ABN on my invoice to a NZBN when sending an invoice. I am an Australian based business who does work for companies in New Zealand and when I send them an invoice I can't add an NZBN it must be ABN. I think this could be a very simple change. Specially when setting a up a new contact and adding the country in the address I would suspect this would be automatic?
