NZ Payroll - Report Totals by Pay Item

My clients would like to see the totals (quantities) of pay items per pay, this could be achieved by any of:
Pay Item by Pay Run report (as is available in AU Payroll)
Adding Pay Item (Quantity) to the report options in the Pay History Report
Adding Grand Totals by Pay Item to the Pay Summary Report
The need is to be able to easily keep track of the number of hours of each type of work (different pay items are used for different departments so they can post to different GL codes)
